This is a second appeal in a divorce action arising from a decision of the magistrate court following remand from this Court in Swope v. Swope, 112 Idaho 974, 739 P.2d 273 (1987) (Swope I). Both parties appealed to the district court from the magistrates distribution of the property. The district court affirmed in part and reversed in part the magistrate courts decision. Both parties again appealed the district courts decision to this Court. A summary of the facts are as follows.
