Summer 2021: Job & Ecclesiastes
Explore the Bible for Students Daily Discipleship Guide is a resource designed to help students walk through each session of Bible study as a group. In addition, it is also designed to help students individually. Five Daily Devotionals are provided for students to continue studying the Bible on their own throughout the week, equipping them with tools to understand the Bible and apply it to their lives.
The Summer 2021 study unpacks two of the Bible’s wisdom books: Job and Ecclesiastes. What is the meaning of life? Why is life so difficult at some times and so amazing at others? Why do we spend so much of our lives going to school or working a job? Why do seemingly good people suffer? These questions have likely bothered you at some point, and if they haven’t, they soon will. This is, in part, why God has given us books of wisdom. Job and Ecclesiastes not only help us cope with life in a fallen world, but also challenge us to trust God no matter what we are going through. Wisdom has to do with putting truth into practice and these two books will help us learn to apply what we know about God to how we live, learn, and love our neighbors in everyday life.
