Alaska Clearly Perceived is a photo journal of our conference, trip, and joy found in serving. I trust it will encourage you as you perceive God’s work. From February 06 to February 15, 2016 I had the privilege to fly to Alaska with my family for a training conference in Soldotna, AK. The church was Soldotna Bible Chapel located on the Kenai Peninsula.
For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. – Romans 1:20 (ESV)
Because of the kind and generous mercies of the LORD my family was able to attend with me, which made traveling the 4400+ miles more palatable. The church scheduled several teaching events throughout the week, with the hope of envisioning and equipping them for more effective soul care.
The people of Alaska were the highlight of the trip. We met a special group of friends who love God, each other, and their state. Without question the LORD is clearly perceived through the things that He has made.
To my friends in Soldotna,
Paul said it best when he said, “I thank God upon every remembrance of you.” That is how we feel. You embraced us as your own. You received the words the LORD gave me to speak. You took notes on paper and in your hearts. And best of all you’re seeking to apply God’s good words to your lives. We are now part of you and you are part of us. It was our joy and privilege to serve you, though you would not be out-done in showing honor: You served us exceptionally well (Romans 12:10).

• Thank you for the conversation and the prayers.
• Thank you for the laughter and the tears.
• Thank you for your obedience to God and His Word.
May the LORD brings us your way soon. It would be a privilege to do it all over again. I hope this photo book, which is a blend of our conference, our trip, and our joy found in serving you, is an encouragement to you.
