Two princes are in love with Lucy. Too bad she's an imposter...

Fired from her waitress gig and desperate for cash, Lucy takes a menial job with Lady Lizzie, who could be her posh, polished twin.

Lady Lizzie has agreed to a hasty marriage of convenience with Prince Cristoph of Fredonia, but needs a pinch of time to tie up loose ends.

In the mother of all makeovers, Lucy is abracadabra-ed into Lizzie’s doppelgänger and flies to Fredonia to hold down the fort.

Maybe someone should have warned her that Lady Lizzie has been hooking up with Cristoph’s younger brother — Prince Nicholas — for years.

Let the royal games begin!

Nothing like a lot of cut ‘n paste to make this read a Total Bore! (Eye roll) Seriously.. is this how she writes books? Sure glad it was free cuz I didn’t get past chapter 2.

I did not think I would finish. I was so close DNF. Stayed with it because of Nick and the ladies. Elizabeth was very selfish. Her father loved her and she deceived him. It appears to be the type of woman she was. Lucy was sweet and naive. I immediately knew Nick was the one for her. Definitely some tricks in story. I will say this is such a ridiculously unbelievable story. There is no way an imposter could fool her father, two lovers, employees, a country and her best friends. Completely unbelievable. Yet, in the end, enjoyable. I recommend.

Laugh out loud. What appealed to me about Part -time Princess is the nod to the fantasy of the fairytale. Lucy is an imaginative and fiesty character. She's a scrapper. Not afraid of hard work, but despite her station in life, she never loses her sense of humor. I love this character. Modern meets age old and delivers irresistible. Easy to love. Hard to forget.

Have you ever read a book that is trying so hard to be funny that it's not? This book is just like that. This book jumps around, is hard to follow, and is not funny.
