Most schizophrenics suffer from a chronic or episodic in throughout his life, and is often stigmatized by lack of general understanding about the disease. Actually, who suffers from schizophrenia does not have a "split personality", and almost all schizophrenics are not dangerous or violent towards others, contrary to what is commonly believed. Indeed, it is much more likely to be victims themselves, rather than responsible for acts of violence.
