Barry Allen meets Kid Flash, Wally West! This is the first appearance of Kid Flash, who later assumes his mentor's mantle after CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS. This issue also features the first appearance and origin of the Weather Wizard in "Challenge of the Weather Wizard!"
