People had been telling me to read "the stranger" for quite some time and I finally decided to read it today. It was a jarring, moving read that will draw you in and before you know it, it's over. I feel as if I will have to re-read it to fully grasp the tone and voice of the book, but it I will enjoy it again all the same!

  • Absolutely pointless.

This book created a hatred for Camus literature that I did not intend to have. There was no theme or interesting prose.

This is great read! I am glad that this literary work was part of my class reading, otherwise I would have never been exposed to the point of view of Camus. I am sure we can all relate to parts of Meursault, and acknowledge the indifference the world shares with us.
