A darkness still resides in the more remote corners of the Earth, and breathes heavy in the dark sector countries, though none as much as the west coast of what is left of the United States of America. Largely still lawless, the business of trafficking women has not died out here, and the stakes are higher than ever.
Evan Noori, having been kidnapped from her home in New Zealand, is the latest trafficking victim. The last thing she wants to be doing on her weekend off is fighting for her life in the wilds of the Pacific Northwest, but it seems fate has a different agenda.
A chance meeting on the banks of an unknown river with Ghost Crew 231 has her world spinning completely off its axis. She knew about the crews that saved women, and kept the peace, but she never expected to meet one.
Or to be recognized as the mate of one of its members.
Working together to find the reason for their mission, a sister of one of the members of the crew, Noori and the Crew begin a courtship born from desire, duty and need.
