This United States Army manual, Department of the Army Pamphlet DA PAM 381-20 Military Intelligence Counterintelligence Investigative Procedures April 2020, is the counterintelligence (CI) reference for CI investigative procedures and processes based on U.S. law, Department of the Army (DA) policy, Army Counterintelligence Coordinating Authority (ACICA) policy, and U.S. Army Intelligence Center of Excellence doctrine. This pamphlet applies to the Regular Army, the Army National Guard/Army Guard of the United States, and the U.S. Army Reserve, unless otherwise stated.
