It was like landing on a soft, transparent trampoline,
except that you didn’t bounce off.
In her haste to enter the little girl’s bedroom, the
glue fairy had flown into a huge spider’s web. At
first, she didn’t know what was happening; only
that she couldn’t move her arms, legs or wings. She
was covered with sticky strands – in her hair and
also wrapped around her body. The more she tried
to free herself, the more became entangled.
