A Love So Deep is the last installment of The Bone series by Lili Valente. What a way end this heart wrenching love story between Gabe and Caitlin. When an unexpected email brings Caitlin back to her past, it's then that the truth begins to unravel, causing Caitlin to question so much. Oh, my gosh! I knew that this book was going to blow me away. I mean, how could it not? I was sitting on the edge of my seat, e-reader in hand, just waiting. Because I know Lili Valente, and she loves those moments. You know, those moments where you're reading along, taking everything in, and then, BAM! Yep, like a bolt from the blue, Lili's got you saying, 'What the..??!!' This book is full of those moments, believe you me, and I LOVED it. Although Caitlin has moved forward, the loss of Gabe and the love that they shared is always in her heart and mind. When Caitlin learns that the people that she trusted the most conspired to deceive her, she will do everything that she can to rise and be the strong woman that she has become. Lili has done a fabulous job with this series, and this book, so beautifully written, and filled with angst, heartbreak, redemption, and love, is my absolute favorite. It is the perfect wrap-up to Caitlin's and Gabe's story, and 5+ stars just doesn't seem like enough. If I had to recommend just one of Lili's series, it would be the To The Bone trilogy. Seriously, add these books to your TBR, because you will love them, and they will stay with you for a very long time.

I feel like I've been waiting forever for this book. The cliffhanger from A Love So Deadly stayed with me for a long time as did Gabe and Caitlin's story. This book is the perfect ending to their wild story. Lili has another hit on her hands! I’m not sure it's possible, but Lili's writing has gotten better. The emotions swirling around these pages were so raw that I was on edge for most of the book. Caitlin gets an offer that she feels is the right choice for her and her family. She moves on with her life and on the outside seems to be happy and content, but on the inside she's still sinking. She has a new life and a new boyfriend but she can't forget Gabe; her one true love who sparked such passion and love within her. Caitlin is forced to return home only to find her past coming back to her in full force. Lies, deception and tragedy have her searching for answers that she never thought she would find. Can Caitlin be the woman that Gabe always knew she could? Can she survive after finding out the truth? Do not miss this conclusion to their story!! Someone should sculpt this man, immortalize every inch of his beauty in marble for women to drool over for generations to come. I explode like a firework painting the sky, like a bomb filled with flower petals showering the world with color, happiness, and hope. Neither of us is perfect or blameless, but sometimes two imperfect people can make one perfect love.

4 1/2 STARS!! Wow! A Love So Deep was an excellent and perfect conclusion to Lili's Valente's To The Bone series. It was replete with suspense and “oh my God” moments to the point where I just wasn’t sure who I could trust. After once again being left hanging at the end of book two, I couldn’t fathom how Ms. Valente was going to “make it all better” for me. But as she always does, she completely brought this story full circle putting my mind at ease after, of course, torturing me some more with nail-biting moments. But ultimately, in her much anticipated fashion, Ms. Valente completely satisfied my need for the happily ever after I am always wanting. Again I say “WOW.” This was perfect! Caitlin’s life has once again come crashing down around her. After learning of Gabe’s death she is absolutely devastated. Struggling to rebuild her life without him, she makes the decision to take her brothers and niece and move out of Giffney, the home she has always known but which has seemingly never done her any favors from having to leave high school to raise her brothers and niece to now having lost Gabe, the only man she will ever truly and deeply love. As Caitlin continues to reconstruct her life and move forward, things once again begin to spiral out of control. Will she ever be able to recapture the deep love she had finally found which was unexpectedly torn from her grasp so long ago? I have read each and every novel written by Lili Valente, and she has once again accomplished a fantastically suspenseful, enthralling and exceptionally-written story. I was amazingly surprised with the turns this story took and many times on the edge of my seat struggling profusely with myself to just keep reading and not turn to the final chapter just to put my mind at ease and know that everything was going to be alright in the end. Applause Ms. Valente! Very well done!

A Love that endures - 5+++++ stars We knew from the second book in the series that Gabe is still alive and that he had surgery to remove the brain tumor. What we don't know is why? He left Caitlin to go pick up some of his belongings to move in with her and the kids for his remaining time, but he never came back. When Caitlin goes looking for him at his parents home, his mother tells her that he had a black out, wrecked his car and is now dead. He was determined to live and enjoy his last summer when he met Caitlin and he want to take the risk that he would be a vegetable with no memory of his past or Caitlin. In the year since his surgery, he has been slowing recovering memories, with one of them being of Caitlin and marks on her neck and remembering his hands around someone's neck. He is deathly afraid that he hurt or killed her, so he backs off from trying to remember. When we catch up with him in this book, he has just read that Caitlin's father died and he knows that his parents don't want him to go anywhere near the funeral or have anything to do with the Cooney family. However, he is drawn to her old house and he finds out that Caitlin is still alive. Then he is shocked when a van pulls into the driveway and he sees her for the first time since his surgery. Once they figure out that his parents lied to Caitlin about his death and that they kept him away from her for the last year, they decide they need to find out why and how. Their love is just as strong now as it was a year ago. I cried like a baby when she had to tell him about their little boy that didn't make it. Caitlin learns that even those she trusted the most have lied to her and hurt her beyond belief. Now, they just have to figure out what their next steps are before prison time is the end result for one or both of them. They are in for the fight of their lives, but when you find your soul mate, you will do whatever it takes to hold on to them.
