This was a excellent collection and I enjoyed every story to a greater or lesser degree except for the last story. It gave me a ton of great reads and overall I'm very happy. Seriously though, the last book is garbage.

I have been reading for years (as long as I can remember) and this is the first review I have ever written. This book is the first book that has ever moved me to do so. All I can say is Excellent!

I liked this sample collection of new authors and their stories, however none of them were what I would call "stand alone complete," they were all marketing ploys to get you to order/pay for the rest of the books in the various series. That was not explained upfront. But I guess that's what you get for free, so I can't really complain over much. A few of the authors/stories might entice me to purchase more of their work at a later date. For now I'll pass, I hate that feeling of being "played " and this collection left me hanging in the wind, incomplete.
