Description

Although some people compare the noise in digital photography with the grain in analogical photography, they actually have little to do with each other. Grain is the consequence of using a material more sensitive to light, but also coarser in terms of texture, while digital noise is just an error that occurs when increasing the signal that the sensor captures too much.
