Our lives are very much like our dreams. Our dreams can create an environment in which we pursue goals. Dreams tell us where we might want to go in life. I dreamt of becoming a cheerleader. I worked very hard during try-outs. When it came to picking out those who would be on the team, I missed by one name. I entered a beauty pageant once, and missed by one vote. I wrote a romance novel and received a “definite almost” by a major traditional publisher. And I continue to dream. But sometimes we don’t always see our dreams coming true. Yet, maybe, just maybe they aren’t meant to come true in exactly the way we want them to.
