"Whenever life gets you down , you will bounce again and find love and happiness" that's the book theme 2 books in 1. Worth reading .The amount and type of emotion is tremendous. You will live first the life of the daughter Sophie. (Written in a way as if you are reading someone's diary). The ordeals she face will certainly make you cry. grab your tissues near Then she will give a taste and feel of heaven with her almost dead experience. Then comes the story of the mother Cora , a passionate women who has been loved dearly by 2 men yet she had her share of pain . By the end of the book you will forget about all the pain when Sophie finds back love , family and almost lost career

I laughed, cried, scoffed, got the chills, read the book every single night and I absolutely fell in love with the details of Sophie's life. From the beginning to the end I pictured everything Julianne depicted in this story! I felt as if Megan was my very own daughter and peter was my very own father! God really has a way of working through us and boy did he bless Julianne ! I am overjoyed with the outcome of Sophie's life! May the lord continue to bless your literary skills!

I starting reading this book because 1, it was free and 2, I had nothing else to read. I am glad I did! I couldn't put the book down. Julianne MacLean can write. I was engrossed, from beginning to the end. The story was sad, and depressing at times but, so is real life. That's what made it so real and engaging. I have already bought the second and third book in the series. I will probably read all of her books, I'm hooked.:-)

Stumbled across this book... and glad that I did. Truly an amazing story and twists. The emotions that were drawn out of me were raw - almost felt as though I were apart of the story. Definitely recommended!
