Inspired by Apple's reinvention of the textbook we decided to try and reinvent the way information was delivered to students and teachers using Apple's revolutionary iBooks Author app.
Rather than a series of "not to the point" textbooks that require you to sift through hundreds of pages of irrelevant content to find the answer to a specific question we thought it was better for the student and teacher to have resources connected to the common core standards in plain sight as well as the easy understand answers to the standards criteria… just a finger tap away.
We want you to download this textbook and have a thorough look through it. Even try it in your classroom or at home as an electronic tutor. Then join our Facebook group and help us make the the best textbook system on the planet.
We are also looking for partners that can provide specific content based on the common core standards in the USA. We have the drive and now we need your help getting the content to make this project a reality. Together we can save our kids from the institutionalized education system and breath fresh, relevant life into common core standards using technology that kids are already engaged with.

We chose Grade 8 History and Social Science CA state core standard as the first iteration. We plan to do as many grade levels and subjects as we can, but this will require your help.
