Description

Simple top down hat is worked in the round with increases and decreases to form a clever swirl pattern around the brim. Icord edging provides a simple but cute edge that prevents rolling.

Baby/child, adult- 16 (20) inches [40 (50)cm] around head
Finished size: 16 (20) inches around, 6.5 (9) inches high

Yarn
Spud & Chloe Fine Sock (80% superwash wool, 20% silk, 248yds/227m per 65g skein) 1 skein 7802 (orange) plus small amount of 7803 (brown)and 7809 (purple).

You can do the entire hat in one skein of yarn if you prefer a solid color.

Materials
-Size US3 (3.25mm) double pointed needles or size to get gauge
-Tapestry needle
-4 Stitch Markers
-Adult size only: 16 inch size US3 (3.25mm) circular needle

Gauge
6 stitches & 7 rows in stockinette stitch = 1 inch [2.5cm]
