One of the best books I've read recently. Hard to put down. Can't wait to read the other books in this series.

Well written court drama, kept me guessing throughout. Recommend this author and her series of "WITNESS" books unbeatable.

The author has a unique talent of writing to where the reader expects what's coming next, but to only be surprised that they are wrong! This legal thriller will keep you job edge and when you finally get to the last page, you're sorry there's not more!!! A great book from a very talented author!!

Excellently written. Engaging from the beginning. Believable and intense. I read over 100 books a year and few make me want to invest in the whole series. But this one did. Looking forward to the rest of them.

Don't start reading it if you have to put it down. I was hooked from the first page, and hated to stop. I read a lot of free ebooks, and there's usually a reason they're free. But this one was different. So many reviewers say the same thing. 'Couldn't stop reading it.' But I can always find a stopping point. Not with this one. It's truly an addictive book, and one that you won't want to stop reading until you get to the last page. I loved it. It's difficult to relate to the characters because so many people are evil, and they justify it. But the plot is what will catch your attention until the end. It's free. Read it. It's like having a window inside the minds of sick, twisted people. And it'll make you think about it long after you finish it.

I wanted to like this book. I really did. It had all of the right ingredients, but in the end the whole experience of reading it wasn't enjoyable. Most of the characters were unlikable or poorly developed, and I found myself not wanting to get to know them better as the book wore on. The plot was promising and roots in a good idea but in the end all it really delivered was an unsatisfying read with frustrating dialogue and a "Thank goodness that's over!" finish.
