Seven is an enigma. A motorcycle club princess. The daughter of a notorious gangster. The best friend of the deputy mayor. A coffee shop owner. The single mom of two young, adopted children. She’s colorful, in every way possible—from her attitude to her piercings and bright pink hair—and she’s a woman on a mission with the power to help broker a clean break between a powerful motorcycle club and a South American drug cartel. But not all players are ready for the game to change, including the ones she can’t see like the CIA.

Jax Michaelson has a bad attitude and a good shot. The former Navy SEAL has been on Titan’s problem list for running his mouth since the day he showed up for work, but he does a hell of a job, and they’d never let him go. Call him cocky, that’s fine, because then you’d have to admit he’s the best at anything and everything—except diplomacy.

When Titan is forced into the seedy drug world filled with cartel glitz and Harley-riding MCs, Seven and her family become an unexpected bargaining chip right after she and Jax find a way to stand each other—in bed.

Will friends become lovers? Or are they too far gone to be opposites that attract? Is Jax nothing but a bad boy who leaves her hoping for a military hero when the burden of living as Mayhem royalty backfires and her children disappear.

  • Another Titan Team Hero

Jax was another great installment of the Titan Team series. Cristin Harber continues to provide edge of your seat stories. This story focuses on Jax, who has never really been liked by his teammates. He is very private and doesn't really care what others think. Seven is the unusual and colorful friend of Victoria, fiancé to Jax's teammate Ryder. Jax and Seven have been flirting for a few years. At Victoria and Ryder's wedding Jax causes Seven to slap him. It is seen by more people than he thought. Jax's past also shows up that night and this wonderful adventure filled with twists and turns begins. Kudos to Cristin Harber.

  • Gotta love a Titan wedding

Wow, how is it possible for someone's heart to break when they never let themselves get involved or attached? Jax is the epitome of lone wolf/team player. He shows up and does his job as part of a team, but he does not interact socially in any way with any of his team members. Seven's description of him as jerkface is spot on. So how does a control freak princess end up getting drunk in Vegas and marrying said jerkface? Goodness what a pair they made. I love that Jax had no problems with the kids or her mom. That's a lot of responsibility to take on and he just did it. I love that he stood up to Johnny and his BS. So I had a few open questions remain - a) Did Mayhem get out of the drug business? b) Did Johnny get his act together? c) What was the point of bringing Cullen back other than to torment Seven? and d) What happened to the Suarez's? Overall I enjoyed the book. My heart broke for Jax when Seven served him with divorce papers and he confronted her. I never thought my heart would break for him but it did. But it was put back together with the wedding. Gotta love a Titan wedding.

I absolutely love the whole Titan and Delta series. Definitely recommend you read these books, it's better if you read these in order.
  • Heart pounding.

That's what I kept feeling through the whole story: heart pounding excitement. Whether it was from fear of the unknown and twisted mind games, or from the heat of the moment, from the adrenaline highs to the swoony melting moments, Jax and Seven's story kept my heart racing from beginning to end. I loved seeing Seven's young vulnerability, but yet mature strength. She is the perfect compliment to Jax. I saw alot of myself in her, with her quirks and desires. Jax stole my heart with his determination, his convictions, his heart, his strength. Yeah, he has been known as the jerk with the attitude problem, but once you dig a little deeper.... Oye. Be still my heart. As with every Titan book, I love finding myself pulled into the story to live and breathe everything Titan. Hearing Boss Man's words of wisdom, seeing the other team members, feeling the strength of the Titan bond, it always wraps my heart tight with warmth. This is a Titan story not to be missed! While it is written as a stand alone, I think it reads better if you've at least read Delta Redemption first. And if you've kept up with the whole series, there's several cameos of favorite characters you'll enjoy all the more. I love seeing all the possibilities of where we're headed next!
  • A Good Story

The great part of the Titan Series is the focus of this quote, “I will never stop falling in love with you." Jax is another example of a strong alpha male falling for a strong female. In this edition, you have bikers, cartel, and weddings (yes, plural). In the end, a good story with a ride off into the sunset for the Titan/Delta team.
