The Google Art and Culture App will take the world’s art right to your mobile phone and turn it into a museum. It is ideal for art lovers and the masses that are unable to visit the famous museums of the world. It began development five years ago when the company partnered with a number of institutions to make the art accessible online. It was launched last year, officially, but has since been improved by the company with two additions, Google Cardboard and Art Recognizer. The Google Art and Culture App is available for both Android and iOS mobile devices and can be installed directly from the Google Play Store and iTunes, respectively.
