Your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life, right? That’s what they say, at least. I went into that day hoping I’d get the happiest day of my life. What I got? The worst. I mean, you really can’t get any worse of a day without someone actually dying.

So…I may have gotten just a little drunk, and maybe just a tad impetuous…

And landed myself in a dive bar somewhere in Alaska, alone, still in my wedding dress, half-wasted and heart-broken.

Eight brothers, one bar.

Sounds like the beginning to a bad joke, yeah?

I kinda think so.

Wanna hear another joke? A girl walks into a bar, soaking wet and wearing a wedding dress.

I knew I shouldn’t have touched her. She was hammered, for one thing, and heartbroken for another. I’ve chased enough tail to know better. That kinda thing only leads to clinginess, and a clingy female is the last thing on this earth I need.

I got a bar needs running, and only me to run it—at least until my seven wayward brothers decide to show their asses up…

Then this chick walks in, fine as hell, wearing a soaked wedding dress that leaves little enough to the imagination—and I’ve got a hell of an imagination.

I knew I shouldn’t have touched her. Not so much as a finger, not even innocently.

But I did.

Mehhh. This book was... okay. The writing isn't bad, and the plot isn't terrible, either...I think there's just wayyyyy to much unnecessary detail, which makes it difficult to get through. You kinda get bored halfway through the very long chapters. But I have to give credit where it's due - she knows how to write a steamy sex scene!

AMAZING! The only downside to this book is having to wait to read about the other brothers. Jasinda is a master at her craft for writing. The characters and the storyline of this book are fantastic.
  • Badd never looked so good!

This is a sexy RomCom thay will make you laugh out loud! It is funny, entertaining and so hot that hypnotic steam will roll off of your Kindle the way fog rolls over a mountain range. This is the first book about the Badd Brothers. There will be seven more books about these delicious and decadently different brothers. Badd never looked as good as it does on these brothers! Sebastian runs the family bar and is the typical bad boy, but with a twist. The twist is that although he is sexy and inked, he is also a dependable provider and likes a simple life. Did I mention he can cook? See, now that is sexy too! Sebastian puts the sexy in Badd boy. One night Dru blows into his bar. She is a type A personality attorney. She is a runaway bride who caught her fiance cheating right before their wedding. Can Dru and Sebastian work through their own personal issues and be Badd together? Let me tell you that they are pretty hot when they attempt to find out! I loved this book and can't wait for the other seven books in the series. These brothers make for great reading.

4.5 Super NOT Badd Stars I love Jasinda Wilder books. I never know what I’m going to get when I start her reads. She can make me laugh, cry and help me lose weight. She’s a well-rounded author and always puts me in a fantastic reading mood. The first thing that intrigued me about this book was the cover and title. I had to find out what this was all about. Sebastian Badd is the oldest brother out of eight of them. Yes, you heard that right EIGHT and I can’t wait for each Badd book. Bast owns a bar given to him by his father. All of his brothers live across the world, but Bast decided to stay home and run the family business. Dru ran away on her wedding day and believe me she had good reason to. She didn’t have a destination in mind when she hopped on a sea plan traveling to deliver cargo. She ended in Alaska. I really liked the premise of the book. Eight brothers? Yes. A runaway bride? Yes. Two crazy but single characters meeting randomly? Double yes! When you start the book it hits you with a bam of funny, cute and awesome goodness. I really liked the main characters too. Dru is super entertaining and you feel her pain. She’s in a rut and devastated and I would do exactly what she did. She’s wearing her wedding dress when she runs into Bast and you can’t help but giggle at their meet-cute. You will soon realize each brother is different (yes they all make an appearance in the book). Bast is the loyal one, he stayed to continue the bar business and you can tell he puts a lot of stress on his shoulders. He also doesn’t like technology, I know that’s random, but I found it a quirky trait. Dru and Bast have crazy tension and even though Dru is newly single, she can’t help her attraction towards Bast. And Bast wants a no-strings complicated relationship, because he’s never been in a relationship, but he always can’t help but notice how beautiful and attractive Dru is. You will definitely enjoy the side characters as each brother slowly show up and you will see how different each of them are. My heart is holding out on the youngest and most nerdy Badd brother. Typical me. I really enjoyed this book. I found it witty, comical and highly entertaining.
